ST. JEROME ACADEMY OF THE SOMASCAN MISSIONARY SISTERS - GRADUATION MASS 2008
The Somascan Sisters were the first among the Somascans in Sorsogon who celebrated their Graduation Rites. It was done last Saturday March 15, 2008. The day before that, however, I celebrated the Thanksgiving Mass for their candidates for graduation and their parents. The Mass was held in their Convent Chapel in Our Lady's Village-Pangpang, Sorsogon City.
Since St. Jerome Academy is a pre-school their student are naturally very young. And I enjoyed very much the Mass with these angels in white. These photos were taken before the start of the Mass.
One of my greatest achievements as preacher of the Word happened that day. The children listened attentively to the homily. No simple task if you know the kids; they are exactly like you and me during our childhood.
Once again I want to express gratitude to Sis. Angelina Bigtas, MS and the entire community of Jardin de Maria for inviting me to be part of their celebrations with the children and their families. CONGRATULATIONS AND MABUHAY!
